Foreign tourists visit central coast |

Nearly 350 foreign tourist, mainly German, arrived in the central city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province, aboard the Bahamas' "Columbus" cruise ship on Feb. 27.
This was the second foreign ship to visit Nha Trang this month. On Feb. 12, the British "Nautica" cruiser brought 500 visitors to the city The tourists visited several popular tourist sites in the city, toured craft villages, and Cham towers and pagodas. The ship left Nha Trang for Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon of the same day. Also on Feb. 27, a nautica ship (from the Marshall Islands) entered the Chan May port, the central province of Thua Thien-Hue bringing tourists to Da Nang and Hue. The ship, carrying almost 700 passengers, left for Ha Long Bay in the northern province of Quang Ninh. Chan May port is expected to welcome 2,000 holiday-makers from the "Queen Elizabeth" from the UK on Mar. 13. (Source: VNA) |
