After carrying out survey on thousands of consumers nationwide, Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper has chosen 50 companies from the tourism sector to receive the title of “Favorite Vietnamese Tourism Services 2006”.

Representatives of the companies reiceive the designation at the award ceremony.

The leading enterprises include Saigontourist, New World Hotel, Vinpearl resort, Tax trade center, Coop Mart supermarkets, Metro Cash and Carry Supermarkets, three home appliance shopping centers: Saigon Nguyen Kim, Thien Hoa and Cho Lon, Ngon restaurant, Viet Nam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, taxi firms: Saigontourist, Mai Linh and Petrolimex, and insurance companies: AIG Viet Nam, Bao Minh and Sai Gon.

The award concept was co-organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong and the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Department. Readers chose one or two of their favorite organizations within a category and registered their votes with Sai Gon Giai Phong’s head office.

It is a good opportunity for domestic enterprises to introduce their services to customers while at the same time exposing themselves to customer opinions.
