By the end of 2006, the construction of a tourist and entertainment complex named VinPearl on Tre Island (Nha Trang City – Khanh Hoa Province) will be completed and put into service. With all the favorable natural conditions, the Vinpearl has been recognized as a well-known domestic and international tourist attraction.

Highlight of tourism

The Vinpearl is located on Tre Island, famous for its crystal white beaches and surrounding mountains in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province. Current means of transport to the island includes speedy ships (30 passengers/ship, 7 minutes), a hydrofoil (140 passengers), high quality ferries (370 passengers, 25 minutes) and 4 ferries to carry fresh water and cars (4 cars/ 1 ferry, 25 minutes).

Especially, in October 2006, the Vinpearl will offer the world’s longest cable car system, more than 3.3km with a capacity of 1,500 people/ hour. It will take 9 minutes to go from Nha Trang City to the Tre Island. The cable car is 40m above the sea level on average. Its highest point is 60m. With the cable car, tourists can contemplate the breath-taking panoramic view of the world’s most beautiful beach.

The resort boasts a 5-star hotel with 500 rooms with sea views and the biggest Southeast Asia’s swimming pools, 5,000m2. The visitors coming here are from several countries in the world, the USA, Australia, Japan, Italia, Russia…Rooms are decorated in a Vietnamese style with wooden and rattan furniture and paintings.

Besides, a Spa zone, unique combination of traditional charm and modern luxury, which is considered to be the largest in Vietnam, will be put into operation by the end of 2006.

Hoi An Ancient Town on the sea

According to the CBRE, the highlight of the resort is a large retail village bearing the style of Hoi An Ancient town. The 6,000m2 village features the harmony of traditional and modern styles with more than 100 stalls supplying 4 categories of luxury products such as high quality jewelry, clothes, cosmetics, fine handicrafts… satisfying all customers’ demand.

Richard Leech, Director of CBRE said this would become a new and exciting entertainment destination of significant scale that would provide world-class facilities to tenants and shoppers in a traditional but modern setting.

A place worth visiting

It’s really a pleasant surprise to look at several impressive constructions invested the Hon Tre Tourism & Trade Company. One of the remarkable constructions is a theatre and a stadium at the resort with a capacity of 5,000 people. The construction will be completed by late August 2006. The Miss Vietnam 2006 and fashion and music shows will take place in this place. Surrounded by mountains and the sea, this resort looks like a pearl viewed from the mainland. From Nha Trang City, the cable car will lead you to the vast amusement zone for both children and adults. A visit to the Vinpearl is highly recommended.
