Addressing the conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung hailed efforts made by Prime Minister Dung also instructed the southern province to focus on developing marine and island economy, especially the Phu Quoc island district. He required Kien Giang, the central authority and investors to promote infrastructure investment, especially in key highways and routes such as the 80,61,63 Highways, the Rach Gia-An Minh and Rach Gia-Hon Dat-Hon Chong coastal waterways. It was reported that six projects were granted investment certificates at this year investment promotion conference.
