ImageA photo exhibition, entitled ‘The Man and the Magic of Cacoa’, featuring Venezuelan culture, opened at the Vietnamese Culture and Arts Exhibition Centre in Hanoi on July 3 to celebrate 201 years of Venezuela’s Independence Day.

The exhibition introduces visitors to the land and people of Venezuela, as well as its famous product cacoa, through photos taken by Venezuelan photographer Laila Chemekh Saab.

On display at the exhibition are also numerous handicraft products from Venezuela including masks, puppets, rattan and bamboo products, sculptures, brocatelle, and tapestries.

The event aims to strengthen comprehensive cooperation between the two countries and help Vietnamese people learn more about Venezuelan land, people and culture.

The exhibition, co-organised by the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Vietnam and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will last through July 7.
