ImageA Canadian Food Festival will be held in Hanoi for the entire month of July to celebrate Canada Day, announced the embassy of Canada on June 28.

The festival will take place from July 1-31 at a number of restaurants in Hanoi, including Don’s Tay Ho, Hai Cang, Asahi Sushi, Nam Phuong, San Ho, Dep and Thien Phuc Quan, as well as the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake.

All participating restaurants will feature the best of Canadian beef as well as a variety of famous fresh Canadian seafood such as lobster, oysters, black cod, geo-duck, snow crab, mussels, scallops, and much more. The Canadian Food Festival will be officially launched at Hai Cang restaurant on June 30.

“Through the festival, we would like Vietnamese consumers and institutions to consider Canada as one of their top sources for high-quality food products”, said Canada’s ambassador to Vietnam Deborah Chatsis.

This Canadian food promotion event in Hanoi will be followed by another later this year in Ho Chi Minh City.
