As many as 46,000 foreign tourists arrived in central Khanh Hoa province in the first two months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 7 percent, according to the provincial department of Trade and Tourism.

Of the total, nearly 2,400 foreign visitors visited the province by sea, the department added.

The province also welcomed nearly 170,000 domestic guests in the year's first two months, a rise of 37 percent over the same period last year.

The department said that it has paid much attention to improving the tourist environment to attract more visitors.
