The mausoleum was inaugurated on August 29th 1975. It has become a place for generations of Vietnamese to converge feelings and beliefs with Uncle Ho – the national liberation heroine and a world cultural activist. Implementing the renewal policy initiated and led by our party, the national economy increased, people’s lives were improved. More and more people from localities nationwide went to President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum to pay tribute to Uncle Ho. About ten thousand people per day visit President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum during days-off, festivals, his birthday and the anniversary of his death.
