Vietnam Tourism Awards held in Hanoi |

 65 hotels,
travel agents and businesses were honored in a ceremony entitled “Vietnam
Tourism Awards”, which was co- organized by the Vietnam National Tourism
Administration and the Vietnam Tourism Association on June 29th in
Hanoi.
The
organizing
board awarded 30 leading hotels in Vietnam, 20
travel agents, and 15 businesses which specialize in tourism services.
Specifically, the ceremony also honored 19 hotels which were named
“Green
Hotels” by ASEAN environment organization.
The
award has
been conducted by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism since
1999 under the title “Top Ten Leading Travel Agents and Hotels in Vietnam.”
Since
2004, the Administration handed over the awards to the Vietnam Tourism
Association to implement selections and awards.
In the first five
months of
2010, Vietnam
was named among the four nations with a tourism growth of more than
30%, by the
