Image“Daily life in Vietnam” is the topic of a photo exhibition by a French amateur photographer Jean Pierre Tissier at the Vietnam Cultural Centre in Paris, France. Tissier’s work depicts various aspects in the daily life of Vietnamese people, from tradition to modernity, from the urban to the rural area, from the delta to the mountain areas.

The images of an old man with a warm smile, girls in traditional clothes, farmers busy with fieldworks are all part of the exhibition.

“I went to Vietnam the first time in 2005 and I returned to this country every year. I love Vietnam because Vietnamese people are very likeable and the landscapes in Vietnam are lively and colourful,” Tissier said.

He said he is seeking a sponsor to publish photo books about Vietnam to help foreigners to also understand and love Vietnam.

The exhibition will be open until January 15, 2010.
