A culture and sports festival organised by ethnic groups in the southeastern region kicked off in Dong Nai province on Nov. 11.
 

More than 600 artisans, artists and athletes representing villages in the region, namely Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Ninh Thuan, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Lam Dong, and Ho Chi Minh City , participated in the opening ceremony.

A wide range of activities, including exhibitions of cultural and craft items, traditional art and costume performances, folk games, culinary arts and sport competitions, will be on offer during the three-day event.

The participating art troupes will entertain the locals with a series of separate shows in several districts of Dong Nai province.
