InterContinental Hanoi Westlake has won renown as Vietnam’s ‘Best City Hotel – Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City’ in TTG’s Travel Awards 2008 ten months after its soft opening. 
 

The annual award, conferred by TTG Publishing, ranks as an annual compendium of the best and brightest hospitality lights across Asia. This was the first year that TTG set categories for Best City Hotel in 10 Asian cities. Last year, none of Vietnam’s hospitality properties won recognition by TTG, an authoritative publisher of travel industry journals.
Between June and August of this year, travel agents, tour operators and destination managers who read TTG Asia, TTGmice, the o­nline TTG Daily News, TTG China and TTG-BTmice China cast their votes for Vietnam’s ‘Best City Hotel.’
Voters based their decisions o­n the hotel’s services and facilities, its range of value and added benefits, and o­n the innovation of its sales and marketing team.
 

The InterContinental Hanoi Westlake opened in Dec. 2007 and immediately established itself as an inimitable Hanoi option. Conde Nast Traveler also recognized the hotel o­n its 2008 Hot List, the 12th annual round-up of the most compelling new hotels in the world.
