Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has agreed to hold the National Tourism Year 2011 in southern central coastal provinces with Phu Yen being the host locality.
 

The province of Phu Yen will boost the construction of infrastructure for tourism, and strengthen coordination with other cities, provinces and foreign partners to seek investment.

By hosting the National Tourism Year 2011, the tourism sector is expected to become an important economic sector of the region.
