RoK invests in half a billion USD resort |

 The Nam -A D&C Company of the Republic of Korea has received a licence for investment in a beach resort in Thua Thien-Hue province at the cost of almost 8.1 trillion VND (equivalent to 481.74 million USD).
The project consists of an 18-hole golf course, 1,012 coastal villas, nine hotels with 600 rooms and a multi-purpose entertainment park, covering a total area of 317 ha.

Student crowned Miss Tourism Vietnam |

 Phan Thi Ngoc Diem, a student from central Khanh Hoa province, was crowned Miss Tourism Vietnam 2008 on the evening of August 2.
Ngoc Diem, who is now studying at the Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Trade University , surpassed 35 rivals at the final round to win a 100 million VND prize, including cash, an English language learning scholarship and a tour of Europe .
