The Hue Festival 2008, an international and national event, is expected to attract the participation of 27 countries, said Mr. Ngo Hoa, Deputy Head of Thua Thien Hue People’s Committee on April 8.

This year’s festival includes 40 programs with major contents of song and dance, art performance, circus, exhibition, arrangement art and city’s art. So far, France has the largest number of art troupes of any country since the first Hue Festival.

According to the organizing board, this year’s programs are very attractive, suitable to the theme: “Heritage with Integration and Development.”
