ImageAmerican flag carrier Rhap sody of the Seas with almost 1,700 tourists on board anchored in the Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO-recognised World Cultural Heritage site, on January 12.

The luxury cabin cruiser started its voyage from Singapore and will finish it in Hong Kong after stopping over in Cambodia and Viet Nam.

The northern Ha Long Bay is the last leg of the ship’s Viet Nam visit, which included Vung Tau in the south and Nha Trang and the Chan May Port in the central region.

The Rap sody of the Seas has registered eight trips to Ha Long Bay in the first quarter of 2008 with an estimated 8,000 passengers in total.

From Ha Long, international tourists will visit Hai Phong province or Ha Noi.
