Joining Ok Om Bok Festival to take prayers to the moon

Among the annual festivals of the Khmer ethnic minority in Southern Vietnam, Chol Chnam Thmay, Dolta and Ok Om Bok are the most important and Ok Om Bok, also called Phochia Praschanh som paes khee (Festival of Worshipping the Moon), is the most imposing.
Aiming to build a green and touristy city, Da Nang will organise periodical international firework festivals to attract tourists, said Da Nang Chairman Tran Van Minh.
Activities to publicise ancient Hue city’s world heritages

The central Thua Thien-Hue province has designed a series of activities in November to mark the 15th anniversary of the Hue imperial city’s UNESCO recognition as world heritage site. The month-long festivities will also celebrate the fifth anniversary of Hue royal music’s (Nha Nhac) recognition as a masterpiece of oral and intangible heritage.
The Culture, Sports and Tourism Department of the central highlands province of Lam Dong has called for the closure of degraded establishments and tourism projects in prominent destinations.
