Hanoi
authorities have decided to preserve an old house at 11 Hang Bac Street, in
Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem District, as a tourist site. Amidst the hustle and bustle of
city life, the house looks like a small oasis, bringing passers by feelings of
peace and tranquility.
Vietnam should amplify
cultural and tourist promotion activities in Japan as this East
Asian country has become one of its leading tourist market with
400,000 arrivals annually, said a senior tourist official.
Vietnam
and the Republic of Korea (RoK) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU)
on bilateral tourism cooperation in Seoul on June 25. It was signed by
Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh and his
RoK counterpart Yu In-chon during Mr Anh’s visit to Seoul.
