Ha Noi was ranked sixth among Asia ’s best cities for tourists, according to an annual survey conducted by the US ’s prestigious Travel and Leisure Magazine.

Land and sea tours linking Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand are expected to open in the first quarter of 2007, said Le Minh Hoang, director of Kien Giang Southern Province’s Tourism Department.

The Saigontourist Firm will welcome 1,200 tourists and crew members, most of whom are from Italy, from the Costa Marina cruise ship on the first day of the New Year 2007 at the Tien Sa Port in the central city of Da Nang.
